Oz The Brave is the first design that I created among Oz the robot series.
I got the inspiration from 1970's Japanese anime Astro boy.
A robot called "Pluto" from the animation was one of my favorite robot characters
and I wanted to have him as my friend when I was a kid.
Oz The Brave is my version of Pluto, and he is the very first robot I created.
I use Blender to create my 3D art works.
I wanted to create that 70's retro feel so I used a toon shading technique to make him look like a 2D character.
The base is a typical way to present a miniature figures in miniature painting world, and since I paint miniatures/resin figures, I wanted to put Oz on the base as if he was a real miniature art piece.
I made a evil robot that defeated by oz the Brave on the base to go with the theme.
